As such Bosch introduces 3 new batteries this fall to accompany their vast new additions in their bare tools segment as well as to replace those worn out units you may still have in your collection.
Bosch 12V Max Lithium Ion 2.0Ah Clamshell High Capacity Battery BAT414
The Bosch 12V Max Lithium Ion 2.0Ah Clamshell High Capacity Battery BAT414 features a maximum run time with 50 percent more power when compared against the Bosch 1.3Ah. In addition, it also features a best in class size and weight, and has no problem performing in cold weather, working in up to -4 degree Fahrenheit conditions. But that’s not all, in addition to these great inclusions, Bosch’s team of engineers also designed the BAT414 with a durable housing that has been tried and tested to survive a 3 meter drop. Finally it works well all Bosch 12V tools, boasting a 100 percent compatibility. Bosch BAT612 18V Lithium-Ion High Capacity Clamshell Battery
If your looking for a little more power, say at least 6 more volts, the Bosch’s BAT612 18V Lithium-Ion High Capacity Clamshell Battery is probably the right one for you. The BAT612 features the same durable housing and cold weather operation as the BAT414, but with two new additional features that really set it apart. First, it has an integrated fuel gauge for fast and easy charge status, and second it features a flexible power system or (FPS), which allows it to work with all Bosch 18V Li-ion tools. In addition, there are a few minor differences in the specifications, namely that it has a width of 7.25 inches, and a height of 7.75 inches.
Rounding It Out
Finally we have the Bosch BAT620 18V Lithium-Ion 4.0Ah Clamshell Fat Battery Pack. This battery features up to 65 percent more run time when compared against Bosch’s 3.0Ah. In addition it has a unique cool pack design that has advanced heat conductive housing that keeps the battery cooler, while also allowing it to live up to two times longer.
