Black and Decker Has the Edge

Black & Decker 14" GrassHog Trimmer/Edger- Dual AFS GH710

Although it may not be intuitive, given that your yard is most likely covered with dead brown grass caused by Winter’s chill, this time of year is one of the best if your looking to get a bargain on lawn and garden equipment. And if your looking to get your supplies ready for spring, then read up on one of our favorites… The Black & Decker GH710 14″ GrassHog  Trimmer/Edger-Dual AFS  was designed by Black and Decker with the express purpose of being able to  ”trim grass in hard to reach areas where mowers cannot cut while also maintaining edging along hard surfaces”.

The 12″ GrassHog Trimmer/Edger GH710 has a newly engineered  ”PowerDrive Transmission” that delivers a prolific amount of torque from the edgers motor straight to the cutting string. This enables you to get the job done faster than ever and Black and Decker included the AFS in the name of this GrassHog because of the AFS dual-line spool abilities. The AFS advances automatically, ensuring the edgers continuous production, without having to stop work to adjust the spool. The power hungry 6.0 amp motor and high torque belt drive transmission, provides the absolute maximum heavy-duty performance when power housing through the toughest weeds, grass, and overgrown bushes. There is also an optional Groom N’ Edge included, that comes with a handy flip-up edge guide. The guide supports users who wish to switch back and forth from trimming to edging, in mere seconds. At only 5.4 pounds the GH710 is considered a lightweight, and ergonomically designed alternative to comparable competitive models. Thanks to the adjustable height and pivoting handle positions, this GrassHog provides maximum comfort and control for any user. The GrassHog GH710 is corded, and operates at 120 amps and 7500 rpm’s.
