The DeWalt DCD790B 20V MAX XR Lithium Ion Brushless Compact Drill / Driver (Tool Only) is a bare tool, meaning it has no batteries or accessories, and comes just as the drill driver. This 20 Volt model delivers the absolute maximum in power, as it roars through your work projects with a DEWALT brushless motor. DeWalt’s brushless motor systems deliver their drill driver power tools up to 57% more run time over the traditional brushed motor designs.

Design Forward with a Compact Body

DeWalt offers a design forward concept with the DCD790B delivers a drill driver that is complete with  superior power in a modern compact design, measuring 7.2″ front to back with a minimal 2.6 pound weight. The lightweight design balances in the hand nicely for one handed work and the compact design fits into tight areas. The ergonomic comfort grip handle furthers an ideal balance to the drill driver, as well as additional tool control while in use.

And then there was LED Light

DeWalt’s 20 volt Max Xr Drill Driver easily customizes to any of your jobs with the high speed transmission. The transmission is built to deliver 2-speed settings from 0-600 and  from 0-2,000 RPM’s, as it improves the drill drivers speed and torque control. Giving the drill driver access to perform  a range of fastening and drilling applications. DeWalt’s LED lights are built into the drill driver with a handy  20 second trigger release delay, and therefore providing an increased visibility for the operator in poorly lit or dark and confined spaces. The actual placement of the LED lights on the drill driver tool foot, which helps eliminate the chucks shadows. A metal ½” ratcheting chuck offers superior bit gripping and strength.
