DeWalt 20V MAX XR Lithium Ion Brushless Compact Hammerdrill Kit DCD795D2

DeWalt Brushless Motor Coupled with XR Li-Ion Batteries

The DeWalt DCD795D2 20V MAX XR Lithium Ion Brushless Compact Hammerdrill Kit is a great kit to invest in with the DeWalt brushless motor system. The kit comes with two 20V Max XR compact Li-Ion batteries (2.0Ah) to interchange for nonstop working. The Kit also includes a fast charger for the Li-Ion batteries to charge up with. The DEWALT brushless motor is being touted as one the best available, as it delivers up to 57% more run time over the traditional brushed motor. The XR Li-Ion batteries are built with a fuel gauge that provides 33% more capacity over the outdated standard packs. Together the Li-Ion batteries and brushless motor, complete a hard working and well outfitted compact hammer drill.

Compact with a High Speed Transmission

DeWalt’s 20Volt  XR Lithium Ion Brushless Hammerdrill is built for today’s needs with a smaller tougher build, the hammerdrill is only 7.8″ front to back. Not only did DeWalt kick the bulkier designs of yesterday, they also made the hammerdrill lightweight in a 3.6 pound design, creating it to be ready to fit easily into, and out of, any tight area. The high speed transmission delivers 2-speed settings at 0-600, and at 0-2,000 RPM’s. With this new high speed transmission its easy to improve the hammerdrill’s speed and torque control, even across a range of fastening and drilling applications. It is important to note that the torque can handle  0-34,000 BPM’s for fast drilling, even in masonry materials.

Ergonomic Design

The hammerdrill’s ergonomic design offers a superior comfortable grip handle that provides a balance that is ideal, even one handed, while also supporting better tool control. The Addition of LED lights, which are designed to engage when the drill is activated, employs a 20 second trigger release delay and is ultimately designed to provide increased visibility in dark, dimly lit, or confined spaces. Even the  LED placement on the tool’s foot, furthers the hammerdrill’s design by eliminating chuck shadows.
