April 1, 2013

Just The Right Fit

DeWalt DIGG70 Gull Wing Standard Crossover Box - Aluminum 70"

The DeWalt Gull Wing Standard Crossover Box – Aluminum 70″  DIGG70  has a 70″ length, a 19.5″ width and a 15″ depth. It has an aluminum finish with a holding capacity of 10.6 cubic feet. In addition, DeWalt built the Gull Wing Standard Crossover Box with a double lid design for access from either side of the truck, and then included a patented Quad-Frame foam filled lid structure, which forms a solid insulated core for added strength, rigidity, and a solid, secure lid closure.

Oversized Push Buttons and a Tough Coat Tub

Another great feature of the DIGG70 is that DeWalt designed it with over-sized push-button locks, for easier one-handed access, as well as to provide improved key lock protection. Plus, it also has a tough coat tub and lid liner, which helps reduce cargo damage, eliminate aluminum dust, and increase box durability. To further protect the DIGG70 Crossover Box, Dewalt included the BoxGuard 4-point rotary locking system, with stainless steel housing, for superior strength and security. A fully enclosed locking mechanism is built into the box, to prevent damage, bending or would-be-thieves jamming the locking system.

Resistent To Extreme Weather Conditions

DeWalt’s MaxSeal is an extra thick weather stripping, that protects the box contents by sealing out moisture, dust and dirt! The PowerHouse electrical grommet provides weatherproof power access when the box is closed. Additionally, DeWalt designed the DIGG70 with a one-piece, heavy-duty 0.080″ aluminum base design to prevent sagging, leakage, and to minimize denting. Finally, the  heavy-duty gas struts are engineered and positioned to automatically open the lid 90°, while also withstanding shifting contents.
