You read that correct  sir, the  EK425L is operated with one hand, leaving the other hand free to position the cable and connector, ultimately making your crimping tasks a one and done operation.

Want More Specifics..

Looking for a little more meat and potatoes?  First, the Greenlee EK425LDBG11 6 Ton Crimping Tool with CJD3BG Jaws, uses those crimping jaws to open wide in order to fit easily over all of your application’s connectors. If in fact the crimping jaws need to be opened before a crimp is complete, the operator can simply push a button on the back side of the tool, opening the jaws manually. Additionally to help prepare for a crimp, the jaws can be jogged closed until they just grip the connector, allowing the operator to position the cable in the connector before finishing the crimp. Once your  crimp is fully completed, the EK425L signals the operator by automatically opening the jaws. In addition, this Greenlee tool is equipped with the Intelligent Crimping System Technology, which includes a pressure sensor that monitors the crimping force of each crimp and provides the operator a visual and audible alert if the force falls below certain specifications.
