Leatherman 68010101 Crunch with Leather Sheath

August 16, 2012

Pocket knives that folded were first made by Romans and issued out to Roman soldiers in the first century. Later they were used in the American revolution notably by George Washington himself. The Civil war issued pocket knives to their soldiers and in the 1940′s World War Two American soldiers were each given standard pocket knives to carry on themselves at all times. Pocket knives have a can do attitude and elude the spirit of good old American know how.

Leatherman Crunch 68010101

Much like the knives mentioned above, the Leatherman 68010101 Crunch with Leather Sheath is a 100% stainless steel quality knife and multi-tool. Included in the Leatherman Crunch is a pair of locking pliers that fold away. The inclusion of pliers is what categorically separates this multi-tool from the simple yet traditional design of your standard pocket knife.

This knife becomes your very own portable vise as you can clamp up to a 1″ diameter pipe using the Leatherman Crunch. You can also remove the adjusting screw on the knife for a ¼” hex-bit adapter built right into the body of the knife itself. The Leatherman Crunch features locking blades for safety that will release with the push of a button, a leather sheath comes with your knife to protect it as well.

The Leatherman Crunch has locking Pliers, Wire Cutters, Hard-Wire Cutters, a Serrated Knife,  Metal/Wood File, Ruler, Bottle Opener, Small Screwdriver, Medium Screwdriver, Large Screwdriver, Phillips Screwdriver #1/#2 , Hex Bit Driver,  Wire Stripper, Lanyard Attachment, and a  Leather Sheath.
