The Makita 12V Max Lithium-Ion Cordless Jig Saw VJ01W kit has the 12V Cordless Jig Saw, two 12V max lithium-ion batteries, a battery charger, a jig saw blade, and finally, a tool case. Makita builds their motors to ensure quality and reliability in their products, and as such, the VJ01W’s  motor has a variable speed that delivers 0-2,400 strokes per minute. Additionally, their are three orbital settings included that can be performed with a tang shank blade, which can cut a wide range of materials including plastics and hardwoods. The VJ01W Jig Saw’s design helps you make the very best cuts possible with an electric brake for maximum safety so you can enjoy more productivity. In addition, an on-board wrench is included for fast bevel adjustments, as well as a lock-on button, for continuous cutting. All these great features come complete in a lightweight, 4 pound (even with battery attached), compact package that is well-balanced and well designed.

With A Built in Blower

The Makita 12V VJ01W Jig Saw is designed to control and contain harmful dust particles and debris with it’s “through-the-body dust port”, which is designed to be utilized in conjunction with a vacuum. Using a vacuum with the VJ01W, aids this jigsaw in clearing the “line of cut”, significantly increasing cutting accuracy. Furthermore, the jig saw is built with a die-cast aluminum base that adjusts from 0°-45° right to left.  Finally, the Makita 12V max Lithium-Ion batteries provide longer run time and lower self-discharge.
