The Makita Plunge Circular Saw SP6000K can make large cuts, displaying cuts as big as 2-3/16″ at 90º and 1-9/16″ at 45º. The bevel cuts can be made at -1º to 48º with positive stops at 22.5º and 45º.  Plus, “Close to the wall” cutting is no problem – as this Makita saw busts them out at  11/16″, offering expanded cutting applications. A cleverly “built-in depth stop” allows a preliminary cut of 1/16″ to be made, even before the entire material is cut through, allowing for a clean, smooth, and splinter-free cut. In addition, the optional guide rail system interacts with the saw base in order to provide the operator with the smoothest, most precise, and most dead-on bevel cuts you have ever experienced in a saw. With an easy to set depth adjustment the Makita SP6000K can handle the biggest of jobs. Also, It offers a smooth and convenient plunge release lever for the operator’s comfort, and features quality magnesium components, which deliver a well balanced and lightweight saw at only 9.1 pounds. The dual, front and rear bevels support, provides additional rigidity for accurate bevel cuts, and the precision cutting of this Makita saw delivers a splinter free, mirror finish every time.

The locking lever holds the blade into position so that the wrench can be inserted through the hole in the blade case, making your blade installation easier than ever. The blade wrench itself attaches to the saw for a quick and convenient way to change your blades.
