Improving On Perfection Yet again

Milwaukee 2720-20 Sawzall

How do you improve on perfection? Well the pioneer of the first Sawzall has been doing just that for many decades and does it yet again with the Milwaukee 2720-20 M18 FUEL SAWZALL Reciprocating Saw Tool Only. Remember when after years of multi-platinum success and a roster of number one hits that looked more like 50 cents rap sheet, Garth Brooks suddenly decided to don a wig and try to achieve commercial success as the alternative singer Chris Gaines? Is there anyone who knew what that was all about? The lesson here, is that it is hard to mess with a hit. That’s because that fan base you build when you win them over with that superior blend of characteristics that separates you from the everyone else, usually doesn’t take too kindly when you switch up the magic recipe. But that’s why Milwaukee has been able to offer continued improvement on perfection… It’s because they know not to mess with the magic recipe, while still leveraging improvements in cutting edge technology that has kept their Sawzall fresh, each and every year, for at least the last 75 years. So what’s new with the 2720-20?

The New And Improved

With their newest entrant, the Milwaukee 2720-20 M18 FUEL SAWZALL Reciprocating Saw Bare (Tool Only), Milwaukee has added superior performance and the fastest cutting speed in its class, as well as increased power and durability over that of corded competitors. That’s because Milwaukee has included their proprietary POWERSTATE brushless motor in the 2720-20, which supplies constant power to accomplish those faster cuts, all while reducing heat exposure and extending the life of this SAWZALL. In addition, constant annual innovations in their various RED technology, means that not only does Milwaukee offer one smart tool but also one that will keep running long after the other competitor’s wheels have come off. First, their REDLINK PLUS intelligence system provides optimized performance and overload protection using total system communication between tool, battery and charger. Second, their REDLITHIUM XC 4.0 battery pack provides superior pack construction, more work per charge and more work over the life of the battery pack than that offered by other competitive batteries.
