The Milwaukee 48-59-0280 is a smart charger with the ability to charge Milwaukee 18 volt or  28 volt batteries. Charge times differ according to the make of the batteries however, requiring a 45 minute charge time for NiCd batteries and a 60 minute charge time for Li-Ion batteries. Three charging bays are designed to keep your batteries charged and ready for use as soon as you are. In addition, the Milwaukee 48-59-0280 is impact resistant, with a durable and sturdy construction design, and it is able to withstand the various rugged job site conditions that it may encounter. A convenient built-in cord wrap also acts as a shock absorber for the charger, further enhancing it’s durability. In addition, to keep the user informed of the machines charging status, a high visibility LED is made available for each separate charge station, providing individual status indication for each battery. The charger is also equipped with a 9 foot pass through plug for your convenience.

January 2013 Milwaukee dropped a new M18 charging station dubbed the M18 Six Pack Sequential Charger. It is energy star rated and charges six M18 batteries at six different charging bays all at once.  This charger is aimed at the M18 line, in hopes that as it grows consumers will begin to own several of the Milwaukee cordless tools that run on the M18 system. The charger will aid in the slow down of battery change outs, as it will always have a fresh charged battery ready for you.
