The Ridgid 26092 1224 Pipe Threading Machine comes with a pipe capacity of ¼”- 4” and 4”- 6”, and is equipped with a powerful 161 geared threader. This 1224 Pipe Threading Machine has some serious muscle! It can easily thread the ¼”- 2” pipe at 36 RPM’s as well as thread the 2 1/2”- 4” pipe at a swift 12 RPM’s. The 2 1/2”- 4” receding die head allows the user to cut tapered or straight NPT/NPS and even BSPT/BSPP threads. The Ridgid 1224 Pipe Threading Machine is engineered with the capabilities to thread an assortment of pipe such as black, galvanized, plastic coated, stainless steel, IMC, heavy wall conduit, and a rod up to 30 Rockwell C.
The motor is an induction type motor that insures that the motors sound levels, are within the city limits set by regulation authorities. Another great plus, is its purposeful design to be easier to control, with its inclusion of motor control options of reverse, off, and forward. You can control these features with the heavy-duty rotary style and integral foot switch. The 1224 Pipe Threading Machine’s motor displays its force and strength working at one and a half horsepower, single phase and 60HZ induction type. Also, a special capacitor–start and capacitor-run motor now allocates the 1224 Pipe Threading Machine to thread a complete array of material where voltage drop is experienced. An unvarying and suitable lubrication of dies and work piece is required with thorough head oiling.
The Ridgid 26092 1224 Pipe Threading Machine’s chuck is a hammer type that comes complete with a handy, replicable, rocker action jaw insert. The rear-centering device has Cam action and the pump is a self-priming, gerotor- type with automatic reversing and a constant flow. The Ridgid 26092 1224 has a model 764 full floating and self centering ¼”-4” and a F-229 cutter wheel. The reamer is a model 744 and has a blade type of ¼”-4”. The gearbox has two speeds and handles a 3:1 ratio. The bolt capacity for the Ridgid 26092 1224 Pipe Threading Machine can handle ¼ -2”.
When you receive this machine it will include the following 714 (914) 2 1/2″- 4″ receding self-opening die head, a 711 (911) 1/4″- 2″ universal self-opening die head, one set of 1/2″- 3/4″ universal alloy dies, one set of 1″ – 2″ universal alloy dies and one set of 2 1/2″- 4″ 1224 high-speed dies. Also included is a gallon of Nu-Clear oil, three hex keys, a spare F-229 cutter wheel, a 3/4″ combination wrench, a 744 reamer and last but not least a 764 cutter.
