The Ridgid 1224 Pipe Threading Machine (Stand & Box sold seperately) 26092  has three important points to know, these include the spindle speed, the chuck, and the cutter type. The spindle speed is  36/12 RPM, it is a two-speed gear box, with a  3:1 ratio, it also has a rear centering device with cam action. The Ridgid made the 26092 with a chuck hammer-type that features fully  replaceable rocker-action jaw inserts. The cutter is a model 764 full-floating, self-centering 1/4″-4″, plus a F-229 cutter wheel. For those interested, the included reamer is the Ridgid  model 744 with a  1/4″ – 4″ blade-type. To ensure the very best performance possible, the pipe threader  has a a pump that is a self-priming gerotor-type, with automatic-reversing, and a constant-flow.

 Assortment of Tools Available To Start Pipe Threading

The Ridgid 1224 Pipe Threader Machine 26092 comes ready with the following assortment of tools, in order  to aid the operator  in project completion and accomplishment. The 1224 comes with one  714 (914) 2 1/2″- 4″ receding self-opening die head, one 711 (911) 1/4″- 2″ universal self-opening die head, one set of  1/2″- 3/4″ universal alloy dies, one set of 1″ – 2″ universal alloy dies, and one set of 2 1/2″- 4″ 1224 high-speed dies. It also comes with one whole gallon of Nu-Clear oil, three hex keys, and a spare F-229 cutter wheel. Finally, it also includes a 3/4″ combination wrench, 744 reamer, and a 764 cutter. Important to note that the tool stand and plastic box pictured are not included, but are available for purchase, if desired.

Pipe and Bolt Capacities

The Ridgid 1224 Pipe Threading Machine 26092  has a pipe capacity of  1/4″-4″ and  4″-6″ with the 161 Geared Threader. The threader also has the bolt capacity of  1/4″-2″ or 6mm-50mm. The threader  runs on a 1 1/2 HP, single-phase, 60 Hz, induction type motor and it has a Reverse/Off/Forward, heavy-duty rotary-type and integral foot switch for motor control.
